US President-elect Donald Trump and his wife, Melaniacelebrated New Year’s Eve at his Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida. Several videos of them dancing and singing for the Village People’s YMCA during the event went viral on social media.
Donald Trump Jr., Trump’s eldest son, posted a video on Instagram with the caption: “Fun to stay at the YMCA!!!! Happy New Year everyone!” The video showed his father and Melania enjoying the party. Trump, who was wearing a suit, animated Solemn, he raised his arms and walked in place, while Melania, who was wearing a black dress, swayed as she spoke the words and at one point, she suddenly raised her hands and moved them.

In another video, Trump and Melania were seen sharing a kiss as the clock ticked at 12 o’clock.
Social media is praising Melania’s dance moves
The videos of Trump and Melania received a lot of attention on social media, and sparked a wide range of reactions. Many social media users praised Melania and her dance moves at the ceremony. “I’m sorry. President Trump is in this video? All I see is Melania,” one X user commented. Another said: “It’s Melania’s time to shine.” One user noted that Melania “doesn’t do the moves, but she has her own moves.” Another commenter described Melania as “elegant and graceful!” However, one user noted that “Melania looks uncomfortable,” adding: “I bet she misses her stripper pole.”
Some comments also urged Trump to “dance at his inauguration,” saying: “It would be funny.” One user joked that Trump and Melania’s dance “looks like exercise for old people.”

Another video showed Trump and Musk with an X on Musk’s shoulders on a balcony. Trump was on the phone while they were listening to a remix of Pitbull’s “Feel This Moment.”
