Kelly Ripa Reveals How Much Weight She Gained After Quitting Drinking

In May 2023, the One Direction alum celebrated being 100 days sober.
“I feel great,” he said at the time. “I feel really, really good, and the support from the fans and everything has been really, really good.”
His battle began at the height of 1D mania. “The problem we had in the band – and I don’t blame anyone for this … to just lock us in a room And, of course, what’s in the room A minibar,” shared Liam. “So at a certain point I thought, ‘Well, I’m going to have a party for somebody,’ and that just seemed to continue through many years of my life.”
Over the years, he has been honest about his sobriety. “It wasn’t until I saw myself afterwards that I was like, ‘Okay, I’ve got to fix myself,'” he recalled in June 2021 when he said he had been sober for more than one month at the time. “It was like a couple of pictures of me on a boat and I’m all, like, blown up, and I call it the pills-and-chocolate face…. My face was just like 10 times what it is now. And I I just didn’t like myself that much, so then I made a change.”
