Joey King Defends Her “Weird” Bleached Eyebrows Look

In front of Joey Kingit’s really just a phase, mom.

The Kissing Booth star recently debuted a brand new beauty look in the form of pale eyebrows. And, as she hilariously revealed, not everyone loved the bold look.

“I dyed my eyebrows like a week ago,” Joey announced in a January 16 TikTok video. “They used to be white and now they just look like the Lorax moustache.”

But despite her agreement with the Dr. Seuss character, she added, “I do love it.”

However, when it came to showing her mother Jamie KingJoey was met with a different reaction.

“Then I saw my mom two days ago and she said, ‘I just can’t look at you. You look so weird,'” the 25-year-old admitted, before defending herself with: “Guys, I know I look weird. That’s the point.”

She continued, “I was like, ‘Mom, that’s the point.’ The point is that I try something different. I’ll paint them back, but just let me have this.'”
