Surrectional paintings of Chris Austin

In Chris Austin’s surreal paintings, the giants that have been ignored in the ocean make their way through landscapes and suburban settings. His latest show with Antler, titled “Uncommon”, is a new work from the artist, who often focuses on nature’s elegance, nursery and its inhabitants.

“His work uses a surreal vision for the natural world to tell stories about big meetings and accidents. A little girl in yellow rain stands in the bidder in several works, and testifies to the removal of sharks and orchas while moving through the forest.
