Bruce Willis’ wife shares emotional anniversary message amid his dementia battle
Bruce Willis made a rare and special public outing.
The Die hard die his wife Emma Hemming shared a video of the 69-year-old saluted firemen amid the wildfires in Los Angeles– marking his first public appearance since his 2022 frontotemporal dementia diagnosis.
In the clip, Bruce shakes the hands of first responders while holding a conversation. The Pulp Fiction star himself poses for a photo with the fire professionals who have worked to contain the fires in Southern California that have left thousands of residents displaced since they started January 7.
“Bruce saw a first responder, and never missed an opportunity to show his gratitude with a hearty handshake and a ‘thank you for your service,'” Emma wrote in the Jan. 16 Instagram post. “Yesterday was no different.”
Bruce’s family including Emma, his ex-wife Demi Moore and their three adult daughters Rumor36, Scout33 and Tallulah30, announced that the actor was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia in 2022.
