The record was achieved during the series between NORD Esports and Los Ratonesa team created by popular League of Legends personality and streamer Mark Robert “Caedrel” Lamont.

The sudden rise in NLC viewership can be equated to the entry of several prominent players and personalities into League of Legends’s Nordics and UK League. Los Ratones’ lineup includes popular eSports players and streamers like Carl Martin Erik.RecklessnessLarson, Timenemy“Lebovchik and Simon”ThebausffsHoverberg.

Meanwhile, NORD Esports’ opponents include former LEC pros like Lucas.Santorin“Tau Kilmer Larsen, Matthew”xMatty“Charles Coombes and Eric”Tritz‘Wessen.

Prior to the start of the 2025 Winter Split, the league’s highest ever viewership was 14,023 viewers for the NLC 2022 Summer Split.

According to Esports Charts, Caedrel contributed more than 50% of the total viewership on the NLC’s opening day (January 15), peaking on his own Twitch channel at 98,842 viewers and averaging an impressive 76,594.

As of this writing, Esports Charts has not publicly revealed NLC Winter Split viewership since yesterday.

After years of declining interest in the competition, the NLC is back with Los Ratones and A renewable ecosystem. The increased interest in the league also allowed NLC secures naming partnership with Swedish chair company Arozzi.
