Apple TV+ offers free weekend streaming

NEW YORK (AP) — If you’ve been debating which streaming service you want to subscribe to, but can’t seem to decide, one service is hoping it can grab your attention with some freebies. Apple TV+ On Friday, it announced plans to allow potential customers the chance to try it out and enjoy it throughout the weekend. That’s right, the service gives people two days to enjoy all the shows and movies they can muster to their hearts’ content by giving them a glimpse of what they have to offer.
On Saturday, January 4 and Sunday, January 5, you can enjoy the content on the streaming service for free. Michael D says Smith, professor of information, technology and public policy at Carnegie Mellon University, said the move is a window “Too short to ignore and not long enough to satisfy all requests.”
Smith continues,
“This isn’t saying, ‘I’m going to let you watch this over the course of three or four days or a week or two and then maybe you won’t subscribe for the next month,'” he said. “This is, ‘I’m going to give you two days to explore my catalog.'” And I hope you find something there that you might indulge in. In it. “You’ll probably have time to watch the first six episodes, but it’s so great that you have to come back and you’ll be willing to sign up to come back.”
If you decide to check out the free offer and opt for a forever subscription, the company says it will cost you $9.99 per month. Couch potatoes rejoice!
