Marvel Comics to restart Captain America with Batman Writer Chip Zdarsky
Marvel Comics is scheduled to restart the monthly Captain America series with a new creative team and a new direction to shed light on the oldest days of Steve Rogers after waking up from the hanging animation. The new series will establish the first meeting between CAP and Doctor Doom.
As shown in the ComicsPro Convention on Retail, the new series will be written by Chip Zdarsky (Batman, Dardevil) and it is clear from Valerio Schiti (the gods, The Avengers), with the colors of Frank D’Armata. Zdarsky, Schiti and D’Armata previously cooperated at Marvel 2-in-One for 2017.
The new series will be opened shortly after Steve’s discovery and ice removal in the modern Marvel era.
