The Love is blind star got candid about a frightening medical scare he recently endured after feeling “a bit sick” in November 2024, admitting he regrets not taking the matter seriously from the start.
“By the time I got to the doctors in December, I had a fever for about three weeks,” Kwame, 34, revealed in a video posted on his Instagram page 16 Jan. “I had lost 20 pounds, so based on those symptoms, the doctor decided it could be a variety of things — and one of those things was cancer.”
Fortunately, the reality star-who got married Chelsea Griffin in the season four finale of the Netflix row – didn’t have cancer after all, but he was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis, a chronic disease that leads to inflammation and ulcers in the colorectal region. After experiencing the disease at the time “at its absolute worst”, Kwame shared the lessons he took from the ordeal.
