BBC Radio 2 announces line-up for Piano Room month 2025
BBC Radio 2 announced the program for the Piano Room 2025 month!
From Monday February 3 to Friday February 28 during Vernon Kay A weekday mid-morning show, the annual series will feature 16 of pop’s best-loved artists singing live while accompanied by the BBC Concert Orchestra from London’s BBC Maida Vale Studios.
Each artist will perform a new song, a classic and a cover – and, in addition to being on BBC Soundswill be available to watch on BBC iPlayer later in the day.

Tuesday February 4 – Kim Wildeperforming a Crowded House cover
Wednesday February 5: Tom Grennanperforming a Harry Nilsson cover
Thursday February 6: Mica Parisperforming a Bob Marley cover for Piano Room on what would have been Bob Marley’s 80th birthday
Monday February 10: Myles Smithperforming a Green Day cover
Tuesday February 11: Kiefer Sutherlandperforming a Phil Collins cover
Wednesday February 12: Celestialperforming a cover of Labi Siffre
Thursday February 13: 10cc Graham Gouldman meets specially for this Piano Room with his colleague co-founder of the group Kevin Godley on the 50th anniversary of their signature hit, I’m Not in Love, and performing an Everly Brothers cover.
Monday February 17: Natasha Bedingfieldperforming an Oasis cover

Speaking following the announcement of this year’s program, Vernon Kaye said via a BBC press release: “It has been a privilege to bring some of the world’s best-loved artists to the Piano Room over the past year. This February’s lineup is impressive and represents the vast array of music from across decades that I love to play on my show every day, so please join me for what will be a very special month of music .
With Jeff Smithhead of music at Radio 2, adding: “Radio 2 is proud to bring our listeners live music from some of the world’s most popular musicians. So I’m excited to bring another stellar line-up of artists to the Piano Room in February. This list is full of iconic artists who have sung some of the best songs ever written.

The BBC CO will be working with another group of world-class musicians and performing some of their best-loved songs.
