G2 Esports and Oxygen Esports qualify for Six Invitational


G2 eSports and Oxygen sports They are the last remaining teams to qualify for Rainbow Six Siege’s biggest event of the year, the 2025 Six Invitational.
The two organizations have qualified for this event, which will be held in Boston, Massachusetts Later in the year, by winning the last chance qualifier for both of them.
Qualifying through the EMEA event, G2 eSports They beat less organized team Asparagus 2-0 in the Grand Final. G2 Esports did not drop a single map in the Last Chance Qualifier, defeating MACKO Esports in the Upper Bracket Semi-Final and Asparagus in the Upper Bracket Final.
Oxygen Esports, on the other hand, had a slightly tougher path during the North American qualifiers. After defeating Loyalty Is Scarce in the upper division semi-finals, Oxygen Esports dropped to the lower division after losing 2-1 to Wildcard.
Following the win over Team Cruelty, Oxygen Esports went on to take down Wildcard in the Grand Finals to secure their spot in the 2025 Six Invitational.
Following this victory, G2 Esports and Oxygen Esports joined Japan’s CAG Osaka and Brazil’s RazaH Company Academy as the final representatives of their region.
Overall, 20 teams will compete in the Rainbow Six Siege World Championship, and 16 teams will be able to enter by place in the global standings. Overall, the competition has a prize pool of $3 million (~£2.47 million).
One notable team that failed to qualify for this year’s Six Invitational is FEARX. The South Korean team is the only team to have qualified for both major tournaments in 2024 and not to participate in this year’s event.
