Large police presence Investigation of a reported murder in South Central Omaha Friday morning. Officers responded to a “shots fired” call and found a woman dead at the scene near 72nd Street and Jones Avenue. They detained one person, who they say fired at one of the police cars.

Omaha police released A Surveillance video A carjacking on Sunday left a 71-year-old woman hospitalized. The victim was Khadija Broncher Car theft in broad daylight In the Home Depot parking lot. The video shows the suspect managing to speed off in Provencher’s car before bystanders call 911.
