Finalists for the fiction prize Young Lions 2025 announced by the New York Public Library

On April 17, the New York Public Library announced its five finalists for the Young Lions Fiction Award. This year is the 25th anniversary of the Prize, which honors the work of Young Exceptional (35 years or less) and authors at the start of their career.
The five fiction editors are chosen by a committee of writers, editors and librarians. The former winners included Bryan Washington for Plot And Ling MA for the dryer, and the former finalists included Nana Kwame Adjei-Brenyah for All-stars of chain gangs and c pam zhang for Milk and honey.
The finalists are as follows:


The winner will be announced during a ceremony on June 12 at the Celeste Bartos forum of the Stephen A. Schwarzman building. They will earn $ 10,000.
