Season 3, review episode 1 – spoilers

How is Lotus White at work? The luxurious resort that works as a preparation for every season of the HBO series named Mike White has blood on its hands – this does not change in season 3, episode 1: “The same souls, new shapes”.
While other seasons were opened with discovery, body or revealing that someone died, the cold open season is revealed in the white lotus in Thailand, where Zion (Nicholas Doferna) contemplates due to gunshots. He was terrified immediately for the safety of his mother – as well as all the viewers who gathered that this was the son of Beeinda (Natasha Rothuel) – then a body was flooded towards him.
It is a shrewd thing from White to start the season in this way, immediately determines the death of the third season of his predecessors. This could have been an accident, but the implicit violence and wide fear clearly adds a new tension (as it does a new song from Cristobal Tapia de Veer). Bellinda is the only character returning this season; It will not be limited to her worst death after the first arc of the season, but the scene with Zion explains the amount of what he hates in her loss.

“The same souls and new shapes” are skillfully presented (where viewers can rely on eggs to do, from experience). This will be the moment to highlight those who emerged, but everyone shines in this episode. Michel Monagan, Carrie Kun, and Three Leslie Pep, say everything about their dynamics with their strange appearance and forced smiles (and some unforgettable smiles, to be fair); For the first time, Parker Bossi and Jason Ishaq, dialects in North Carolina, and they work tirelessly to persuade the white lotus staff that their family is “normal”. Lisa Manopal and Timmy Thabthmthong reveals a charming relationship, and Rothuel appears to be at home on her return to the resort. What Aimee Lou Wood conveyes with a smile and an active brand, depicts Walton Googins with Scowl and Expective.
This connection is particularly convincing; It is clear that there is a lifetime gap and VERVE, but it also looks really comfortable in the relationship. Although Rick Gugs grumbling and pulling away, Chelsea Wood remains optimistic, calls him, and tries not to allow him on the way of her vacation. In most offers – and indeed, in real life – it is a kind of partnership in which Rick inevitably explodes anger if not violence. This can happen in the remaining seven episodes, but it does not seem to be currently working in their relationship.
It is an intelligent (or parallel) contrast to the new Chelsea girlfriend Chloe (Charlotte Le Bon) – and her older partner, Greg (John Grace). These are two returns with a direct link between them – a dead link, as it happens, which connects the three seasons in a set of timing, topics and danger. Currently, they all start their week at The White Lotus unaware of the upcoming horrific events. The tragedy is just around the corner, but for many characters, they already reveal in very familiar ways.
