When disaster strikes, music often becomes a rallying cry for hope, resilience and healing. Southern California adopts this power with “Fire aid”, an upcoming benefit concert featuring some of the most famous artists in the world. This one-night only event, scheduled for January 30, aims to support relief and recovery efforts for victims of the devastating Los Angeles wildfires.
Hosted by Live Nation, AEG Presents and music industry titan Irving Azoff, “FireAid” features a jaw-dropping artist lineup that now includes Olivia RodrigoAlanis Morissette, Stevie Wonder, Anderson .Paak, Dawes, Graham Nash, John Fogerty, No Doubt, The Black Crowes and Peso Pluma. They join previously announced stars like Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, Dave Matthews, John Mayer, Katy Perry, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stevie NicksGreen Day and Joni Mitchell, ensuring an unforgettable evening dedicated to unity and support.
Adding to its uniqueness, the event will take place simultaneously at two legendary Los Angeles venues: the Intuit Dome and the Kia Forum, symbolizing a collective stand against adversity. The artist lineup for each venue will be announced on Tuesday, January 21.
A tragedy that shook Los Angeles
The Los Angeles wildfires, fueled by relentless Santa Ana winds, have been declared one of the worst natural disasters in the city’s history. With more than 27 deaths, more than 150,000 residents displaced and thousands of homes reduced to ashes, the fires have ravaged more than 25,000 acres of land. Hard-hit areas like Pacific Palisades, Altadena and Studio City bear the scars of the disaster, leaving communities in dire need of aid.
Those affected include musicians and celebrities like Adam Brody, Anna Faris, Cary Elwes, Jhené Aiko, ThankGod4Cody, Heidi Montag, Paris Hilton, Eugene Levy, Mandy Moore, Cameron Mathison, Leighton Meester, Melissa Rivers, Ricki Lake, Spencer Pratt and Tina Knowles among others who lost their homes in the wildfires. Knowles shared memories of her beloved Malibu home on Instagram: “It was my favorite place, my sanctuary, my sacred and happy place. Now it’s gone. God bless all the brave men and women of our fire department who risked their lives in dangerous conditions.

“FireAid’s” stellar lineup of artists reflects the breadth of the music industry, bringing together living legends, chart-topping superstars and groundbreaking newcomers. Alongside household names like Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry, fans can expect debut collaborations including John Mayer and Dave Matthews performing together. Other confirmed artists include Pink, No Doubt, Sting, the Black Crowes, Rod Stewart and Jelly Roll, with more artists to be announced in the coming days.

“FireAid” is more than a concert; it is a beacon of hope for those grappling with profound loss. All proceeds from ticket sales and donations will be managed by the Annenberg Foundation to provide immediate relief to displaced families, rebuild vital infrastructure, and support long-term wildfire prevention efforts. The Eagles, longtime clients of Irving Azoff, have already contributed $2.5 million to the cause, setting the tone for other donors. Major sponsors like American Express, Intuit and UBS also stepped in to ensure the success of the event.

Tickets for “Fire aid» goes on sale Wednesday, January 22 at 12 p.m. PST via Ticket Master. Fans who are unable to attend in person can watch the live stream at 6:00 p.m. PST on platforms like Netflix, YouTube, Spotify and Apple TV, or watch in select AMC theaters. iHeartRadio will also broadcast the event on 860 U.S. radio stations.
