Quick Export with Adobe Premiere Pro

Most video editors have encountered situations where we need to export a video as quickly as possible. It could be a quick-to-implement project, a review, or snapshots that need to go to a client or team member for review. Quick export feature in Adobe Premiere Pro It is designed to be easy to use, allowing you to export a video file with just a few clicks, giving you the confidence to tackle any project with ease.

Export using presets

To get started, open the project sequence you want to export. In the top toolbar of Premiere Pro on the right side, go to the Quick Export icon. Upon selection, a small window will appear in which only two options will be presented. Starting at the top, you can choose where to place the source video on your computer. Below users can choose a preset from the settings to export the video.

Recent options are displayed, along with any favorites and matching sequence settings selected. Click the export button. Once you make your selections, Premiere Pro will create the video.

Create preferred export settings

Another tip to simplify this process is to create some preferred export settings when using the same export settings for your projects. This can be for final cutting, rough cutting, etc.

Favorites can be added using the traditional export method in Premiere Pro. Go to File > Export in Media in the project sequence. From here, you can choose all the export settings you want to apply to this new favorite export template. When you’re done, go to the Preset tab. Choose the three dots icon and select Save Preset. Enter a name for the preset and click OK. From now on, Favorites should appear under Presets.

When using the Quick Export feature or traditional export options, I highly recommend trying the Quick Export feature. It will make your workflow more efficient and user-friendly.
