“Each path in this record consists of different measures of A, B, C, D, E, F and G, and returning to A, inspired by the idea of parallel, which indicates a connection in the sense through the echo of form.” So say the press materials for ScaleThe new cooperative registry of composers and musicians in Berlin, Broadeth, wire and Midori Hirano. “In other words, we wanted to make the work process as inspiring and balanced as possible, with mutual respect.” While listening to ScaleIt is refreshing to witness the ideal balance between the noble and sometimes calculated nature of the training based on practical and successful delivery of eight wonderful, wonderful and inspiring paths.
Brueder Selke are two brothers, Sebastian and Daniel Silk, both of which are attributed to electronics and chilo (Sebastian) and Biano (Daniel). They joined the bow with the composer, pianist and Midori Hirano. While the three musicians participate in a classic background, they are deeply dedicated to modern electronic music. The construction process Scale Simple, the result is somewhat direct implementation, but it is saturated with a dark feeling of mystery.
“Scale A” opens the album with the Piano ARPEGIOS periodical to Jirano, followed by the brothers adding hidden parts of the colors, and it appears simultaneously comfortably and harmonious. There is a few of its surrounding simplicity at work, as the piano provides the backbone of gentle repetition. The piano on the “scale B” tends to be more free, as it embraces the feeling of low -key jazz, with electronics rising to the surface and microscopic effects that resemble insects leading to a more organic audio result.
Midori Hirano has achieved great success as a cinema and television composer, and there is already a cinematic aura that surrounds these structures – the haunting combinations and chains that envelop “scale C”. The registered between 2021 and 2023 in Berlin and Boutezam near, the collection of these eight tracks over a relatively long period, in its least hands, can break something and uneven, but the songs are beautifully mixed, each path explores the different shapes of their different shapes. The process may seem restricted to paper, but it allows the three musicians to find vocal gold among their applicable parameters.
For example, “Scale F” is one of the most essential tracks, as it rises above some of the depression that preceded it with nice progress to strong emotional heights. “Scale G” is installed along a cute bed of sustainable combinations and chains that bring to vibrant films. “Scale AA” includes closing the record by returning to note the first scale, “Scale AA” is more than the deliberate electronic sounds that the three musicians are famous but rarely reconsideration of this record. The gentle pulse brings the background to modernity to the foreground, but the result maintains a strong classic spirit.
In press materials for ScaleBrueder Selke explained that the record is a way to return to their roots. “Our choice of tones was a relatively simple, intuitive, and dramatic about children. We wanted to seize this unique opportunity with Midori to start zero, and do so together.” It is a unique set of circumstances and concepts that brought these three musicians, and the result is no less than cheerful.
