BRIT Awards 2025: Nominations In Full

THE Brit Awards are back, and this year’s edition promises to be nothing short of spectacular. With the 2025 nominations officially revealed, the spotlight shines on a dynamic mix of industry icons and rising stars, setting the stage for a celebration that truly embodies the diversity and creativity of the UK music scene. From record-breaking milestones to first-time nods, the excitement is palpable as we prepare for a night to remember.
Cutting the pack is Charli XCX, whose bold, genre-defying album Kid has taken the music world by storm since its release. With five nominations, including coveted Artist of the Year and Album of the Year, Charli XCX cements her position as one of the UK’s most exciting artists to watch. Straight on her heels is pop sensation Dua Lipa, whose album Radical optimism earned all four of her nods, including the prestigious Album of the Year, taking her career total to an unprecedented 23 Brit Awards nominations – the most for any female artist in Brit history.

It’s not just veterans making waves this year. Rising stars steal the spotlight with equally impressive showings. Last year’s star winners, Last Supper, made their mark with four major nominations, including Group of the Year and Album of the Year. Meanwhile, Mercury-winning Collective Jazz Ezra make their debut with four nods, solidifying their reputation as boundary-pushing innovators across the UK musical landscape.
Adding to the buzz is the arrival of first-time nominees who are making their mark. FLO, nominated for Best R&B Act, and international stars like Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan, who are vying for International Vocal of the Year, represent the fresh talent gracing this year’s roster. But perhaps the most nostalgic moment comes courtesy of the Beatles. Nearly five decades after their last nod, the legendary group returns to the nominations with a Song of the Year nod for “Now & Then,” a moment to delight fans across generations.
The ceremony, hosted by the always Jack Whitehallwill take place at London’s iconic O2 Arena on March 1st. Broadcast live on ITV1 and ITVX, the event will feature 14 categories and 70 nominees, with five genre awards decided by public voting via WhatsApp for the first time. Voting opens on January 31 and closes on February 14, giving fans a chance to bring their favorites closer to glory.
