Gordon Ramsay Shares Update After Gruesome Biking Accident

Gordon Ramsay celebrates his New Year’s Eve by sharing an update on his healing process, following his bicycle accident back in June.
THE Hell’s Kitchen star, 58, posted a video on Instagram on Monday, December 30, which featured clips of him throughout 2024.

Along with sweet clips of Ramsay featuring Selena Gomez, Guy Fieri and other famous faces, the chef also included a brief moment to show where he was bruised on the side of his body.
“What an amazing 2024! Happy New Year (and yes, the bruise is healed) Gx,” Ramsay captioned the video.
Fans were happy to see he was doing better, with one commenting: “What a year, Chef Ramsay! I’m so happy the bruise is healed too. 🙏🏽❤️✨”, and another adding: “This bruise is still killing me 😅 glad it’s cured!”
Ramsay’s bicycle incident occurred in Connecticut, with the Chef host saying Men’s health in September, he hit a “crater-shaped pothole” while cycling and was thrown from his bike. He was then taken to hospital.
Although Ramsay did not have any broken bones, he had blurred vision, was bleeding, had significant bruising and had to undergo a recovery process.
“I couldn’t even put my fucking socks and pants on,” Ramsay told the outlet, noting that his assistant had to help him. “Justin [Mandel]he dressed me in the morning. I felt like a 95-year-old man, a king.”
Ramsay also updated fans after the incident via a June 15 Instagram post. “I’m fine and haven’t broken any bones or suffered any serious injuries, but I’m a little bruised, looking like a purple potato,” he wrote.
“I am grateful to all the doctors, nurses and staff at Lawerence + Memorial Hospital in New London who took care of me and examined me, but I am most grateful for my helmet which saved my life. life,” Ramsay added.
