This weekend is Readathon 24 hours a day from Dewey! It started in 2007 and I have been participating every April and October for over ten years. It is an excellent excuse to clean my calendar for a day and read as much as possible. These days, I celebrate with some of my friends: the three of us are all about and read together all day (and most of the night!).
Over the years, I have learned some things about reading. On the one hand, I no longer stay in the middle of 24 hours. I’m too old for that. I also always perfect the perfect balance of snacks. However, books are just as important for snacks. I generally read mainly graphic novels and novels on the days of Readathon, but there are a few other things that I learned about the selection of books. (Like every day of the year, of course, I especially read queer books.)
Here are some of the best and worse choices of queer books to read in a single session, at least, regarding my reading tastes.
