Oscar Joyo mocks color and style with the latest works

Oh, did you refer to growth or clouds? Yes, I really enjoyed making these pieces … Both of these pieces come from similar heads of songs, paintings or media that depict the models or stages more vibrant than those that were before.

When talking about anything, please describe how Chromesthsia (the ability to see colors when hearing sounds) is in how you create! Is it activated with certain types of music more than others? What sounds make the most vibrant colors appear? You should be very dispersed or great, depending on your mood/position ..

All types of music inspire Chromsia. If there is a specific sound or effect that I hear in a song, it will give me a certain texture, color palette or vitality to work with it. Although I would like to think that all kinds of music make vibrant colors, sports rock and experimental music helps me out the basis of a piece. Recently, the Book of Genesis Ouso and three tigers were besieged.

Have you seen a doctor about your condition?

(Laughs) Unfortunately, no, but I like to see a doctor or professional about the rough drawing and explore the other parts of my condition. I heard that there are countless cases associated with manufacturing that is closed on the many senses of the human body.

AfroFUTurism implants hope in our society, a feeling that we now need more than ever. We also take elements of the past and use this to pave the way for development and spiritual communication.

Your business works increasing, especially with the recent use of resin in your paintings. Are the text areas thinking in advance?

yes it is. Since I did not use the resins as I wish, I applied more texture on my pieces to circumvent the absence of resin in my modern work. Thinking about adding the texture early as a way to emphasize the depth within each plate I work on. Although I sometimes I will dry and see space I feel that the texture can enhance it.

Does the texture add to the desired feeling?

Certainly he does! It brings the donor to the piece and increases the viewer’s senses, which is always a goal for me as an artist.

Objectively, the shapes are in traditional clothes, but your platforms and compositions are new to the future; The colors are usually present in neon e -scenarios and Sci Fi. What are your thoughts about AfrFUTURISM? And what preferred effects in this section?

AfroFUTurism implants hope in our society, a feeling that we now need more than ever. We also take elements of the past and use this to pave the way for development and spiritual communication. I look forward to being a part of moving forward as a people, and doing my art makes it possible.

My favorite effects should be the black tiger. I will never forget when I saw him in theaters, and I saw a group of other people like me gathering to try a movie that celebrates technology progress with spirituality.

Music artists such as Thundercat and Flying Lotus serves as an additional inspiration, taking between IDM, Soul, Funk and Jazz. The visual artists such as Nyame Brown merge the black pop culture and stories of American diaspora of African origin, and it motivated me to mix a variety of elements of my life in my creativity.
