Seven years ago, children of childhood Wilhelmina and Dax were at the top of the world as a charismatic star and acolyte of a television series for successful children. But then the program was canceled and Dax evolved. Now Wil makes tabloids instead of reminders, and Dax is a rising star thrown into a new buzzing film. When his studio finds it difficult to find the right co-star and the pair meets, Wil obtains the role. The chemistry on both sides of the camera is stratospheric, but it is the chance to Wil to recover her career – and Dax has already left it behind once. Will their romance be a blow on the screen but an off-screen disaster?

Again, there is not a single title that has entered the top ten of the five largest best-sellers lists this week, and only one made four: The theory of the leash by Mel Robbins.

However, we have three new books on this overview for the first time. The first is Intrepid By Lauren Roberts, the last book in the romantic trilogy that started with Powerless. Another new Romant bestseller is Enchanting By Kaylie Smith, an autonomous story on seven immortal brothers and sisters in a “deadly hide and seek game”. The new final addition is Broken country By Clare Leslie Hall, who was released in March, but recently became a choice of Reese reading club.

In particular, not a single Empyrean book is represented here – the reign of Rebecca Yarros on the list of bestsellers seems to have ended, at least for the moment.

This list continues to have a lack of diversity on several levels, in particular by being disproportionately by white authors. Some indie bestsellers that you should know are Hearing by Katie Kitamura, Jacques by Percival Everett, and The service By Robin Wall Kimmerrer, illustrated by John Burgoyne.

To obtain these figures, we look at the USA today Top 10 global; Publishers Weekly Top 10 global; The New York Times Top 10, both printed fiction and combined electronic book and combined printing and electronic book lists; Amazon charts top 10, both fiction and non-fiction; And the Best Sellers Indie Top 10, Fiction and Non-Fiction, both the pocket book and the rigid cover. The new additions to the list this week are in bold.
