Zaha Hadid Tower in Tbilisi to go to the site of the old Soviet army HQ


Zhaa Hadid Architects (ZHA) has unveiled its design for its first project in Georgia, a 57,000 square meter city of City near the Central Tiplesi Park.
The tower was built on the site of the former Soviet forces headquarters in central and southern Caucasus, and the tower will establish the development of the new Cityzen in the SABURTALO area in Tbilisi.
It will have apartments, offices and entertainment.
Chaportalo said a sophisticated urban area served by the second line of the city’s metro system. There are a number of state colleges there, as well as commercial areas and new residential developments.
Cityzen neighborhood creates a new center in West Tbilisi with interconnected pedestrian roads, squares and gardens.
Next to the new Central Central Park, which has an area of 36 hectares of Tbilisi, which contains vegetable gardens, Idles and sports facilities.
Cha said that the design is inspired by the wavy scene in the capital. Landscape stands will follow the tower towards the park, providing external spaces facing the south of cafes.
