Larry Young sculpture was installed in the walnut building Missouri news

Colombia – The new sculpture may attract eyes in the northern village arts region in downtown Colombia.
The sculpture was installed, entitled, “Kony Gate”, in the nut building on Monday morning. The veil heading west of East and Wallet Street was closed between Ur Street and Tenth Street on Monday morning to allow installation.
The sculpture was assigned by the owner of the construction of walnuts and the northern village arts area. Artist Larry Young, a Colombia citizen who created many statues shown throughout the city, created the piece.

“The idea is that you will be able to walk to the North Village of the Arts and the Walnut Building and will be great,” said Young. “Anyone can go.”
The sculpture will stand 22 feet long, 23.5 feet and 12 feet depth. Young, a Colombia College graduate, spent most of his career in doing bronze work. The “cosmic gate” is made of stainless steel, and its latest passion.
“I think a lot. I imagine a lot,” Young said. “You have to imagine, you have to imagine and you have to check. This is my saying.”
Walnut Street Street will open to traffic on Monday afternoon.
