The strong winds overthrow the famous iron horse statue and UGA seeks to answer

The strong winds have recently managed to detonate the 12 -foot statue called The Iron Horse at its side’s side location in Green County.

The statue, which became a teacher along the Georgia Highway, was renewed 15 for thousands of car drivers over the years, and was recently re -installed in December at the Georgia University Horse Science Farm. But after less than three months, it fell from the base of the statue, which was pushed by the hand of nature.

“We realize that the strong winds overthrew the iron horse statue,” said Greg Trevor, a spokesman for UGA this week. “The governor evaluated the sculpture and decided that the damage was minimal. We are waiting for an explanation from the governor about the reason why the iron horse was not reinstined.”

UGA creates the statue in 1954 in its place on the base of the statue, according to Litrifor. The site is about 25 miles south of Athens.
