Chris Evans helped his costar against a brave new world.

In fact, Anthony Macke revealed that he found out that he would be taking over Chris’ role as Captain America in the upcoming installment of the franchise, Captain America: A Brave New Worldfrom the former Marvel star himself.

“It was a bunch of us at his house – he had this crazy house – sitting there watching a game, shooting the st,” Anthony said Fandango in an interview published January 17. “He goes, ‘Have you read the new script?’ I said, ‘No’.”

“Being black,” Anthony continued, “I’m like ‘I’m dying, damn it.’ They’re losing me, man. I don’t cause problems myself. I stand in the back, as I do “don’t bother anyone.”

But when Chris took him down into his “man cave of all man caves,” the 46-year-old soon realized that it was just the opposite.
