Jonathan Owens know who GOAT is in his family.
In fact, the Chicago Bears player showed no hesitation in calling his wife Simone Biles the better athlete.
As Jonathan told Sports Illustrated in a video posted on X January 16 of their Sports Person of the Year event, “I don’t do backflips.”
Although she may be the better athlete, Simone, 27, admitted that Jonathan, 29, wins when it comes to being the better cheerleader.
“He knows more and he really pays attention,” explained the gymnast. “After the first half I lose track of the game.”
As Jonathan noted, “I’ll be locked in. She’ll hear everyone else yelling and she’ll be like, ‘What happened?’
But of course he’s grateful for the Olympian’s support either way, adding: “It’s the thought that counts.”
The couple –who married in April 2023–also agreed that Simone is the better cook, although she thinks Jonathan is the better dresser, joking, “I just wear sweats.”
