Leona Lewis & Calum Scott join forces for special rendition of ‘Give A Little Bit’ in support of The Multibank

Two of the most exquisite voices in pop, Leona Lewis And Calum Scottjoin forces again this week to release an additional special rendition of Supertramp 1977 hit “Give a little” in support of The Multibank as a way to raise awareness of the operations, mission and impact of charities in the community.

Produced by the same team behind the streaming duo. “You are the reason”, Jon ‘MAGS’ Maguirethe super emotional track sees the duo hoping “inspire and nurture a greater level of empathy and compassion in the face of social divisions”.

Commenting on the new track, Leona Lewis OBE said: “Having grown up with key workers as parents, I truly understand the challenges that families, at any point in their journey, can face due to unforeseen circumstances, often completely beyond their control. From putting food on the table regularly, to buying diapers, to protecting our loved ones from struggle…I’ve seen it all. I know how important interventions and support systems like The Multibank are to those who need them, and we must encourage those who need support to access the help available to them, because we all need a helping hand along the way. As a mother, it was important to me to support the work of The Multibank, as it is a positive step towards a greater level of empathy in our young people, promoting understanding of what others do and do not have and developing a greater sense of community. After all, it’s community that makes the world go round. So I encourage everyone to “give a little” this Christmas, which can be as simple as kind words and a little understanding.

Calum Scott adds: “Once again teaming up with my friend Leona Lewis to record our cover of Supertramp’s, “Give a little” for Multibank, it was a great experience. The brainchild of former British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, The Multibank offers a new solution for business surpluses.

It connects business with social needs to help reduce poverty and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, distributing essential non-food products to meet the needs of the most vulnerable in our communities. The company redirects excess proceeds to a multibank, managed by a lead charity. This lead charity is building a local network of charities, social workers, healthcare professionals and teachers, who serve as intermediaries to get essential items into the hands of the community’s most vulnerable.
