The music manhis final curtain call was in January 2023. But it wasn’t the only thing that came to an end. In September of that year, Jackman and his wife of 27 years Deborra-Lee Furness announced their split.

“We have been blessed to share nearly 3 decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage,” the Corelli costars said in a joint statement People September 15, 2023. “Our journey is now changing and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth.

Jackman and Furness share two grown children: Oscar and Ava.

“Our family has been and always will be our highest priority,” the former couple continued. “We undertake this next chapter with gratitude, love and kindness. We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition throughout our lives.”

Jackman and Furness added: “This is the only statement any of us will make.”

Yet she seemed to persist good conditionswith his rep confirming to Page Six the two celebrated Jackman’s 55th birthday at Polo Bar in New York that October and “it was a beautiful evening.”

Furness also reflected on what she learned about herself in the past year.

“[I learned] that I am strong and resilient,” the actress said People in May 2024. “And that I – we are all a constant evolution.”
