JADE Drops Bold New Track ‘IT girl’

Pop sensation JADE has officially kicked off 2025 with the release of her highly anticipated single, “computer girl”.
The track is a bold, bass-heavy electro-pop anthem. Full of attitude and sharp lyricism, the song reflects JADE’s personal experiences in the music industry and the complexities of fame. Written alongside hitmakers Cirkut, Lostboy (known for their work with Charli XCX and Lady Gaga), Lauren Aquilina and J Hart, the tongue-in-cheek lyrics cut deep while delivering a catchy and energetic sound.
Fans have been eagerly awaiting the track since it was first revealed at the end of JADE. “The angel of my dreams” video clip. The teaser sparked a frenzy, with fans flooding social media demanding the song’s full release.
Speaking about the single, JADE said:
“’IT girl’ is the little sister of ‘Angel of My Dreams’. There’s still so much people don’t know about me, so I couldn’t wait to surprise people and poke the bear a little. I have to write about my experiences in my own melodramatic way. I’m not going to sugarcoat it.
JADE ended 2024 on a career high note, winning the Trailblazer Award at the Rolling Stone UK Awards and appearing on the cover of the magazine. She also dominated the end of the year Best of lists, with “The angel of my dreams” named #1 song of 2024 by DIY magazine and land in the Top 10 on The guardian, BADGER, ShockAnd NME. The track’s visually stunning music video won Video of the year by Dazed.
On the cards, “The angel of my dreams” was a huge success. The track has accumulated over 80 million streams and reached number 7 on the Official UK Singles Chart, marking the third highest debut for a British artist last year. Its music video ranked #1 on YouTube for ten days straight, amassing over 10 million views, and the track remained strong in the UK Top 20 for two months.
Since then, JADE has continued its momentum with two other titles. “Midnight Cowboy” offered a sultry, bass-driven ode to self-confidence, while ‘Fantasy’ delivered a sleek, disco-inspired vibe with a visually stunning video directed by the legendary David LaChapelle.
