J-Hope Announces ‘Hope on the Stage’ World Tour and Teases New Music

South Korean pop icon J-Hope stands out with his very first solo world tour, Hope on stage. THE BTS The rapper and singer shared the exciting news just three months after completing his mandatory military service, marking a highly anticipated milestone in his solo career.
The tour is scheduled to kick off with a three-night residency at KSPO Dome in Seoul, from February 28, 2025 to March 2, 2025, with performances also streamed live for fans around the world. J-Hope will then cross continents, with stopovers in major cities in North America and Asia. Although exact details of the US leg remain up in the air due to the impact of the California wildfires, Big Hit Music has confirmed a strong itinerary of 31 shows in 15 cities, including Brooklyn, Chicago, Mexico City, Manila and Singapore.
The title Hope on stage reflects more than just J-Hope’s dynamic presence. According to Big Hit Music, he embodies his aspirations, dreams and heartfelt messages to fans through his performances. The agency promised a diverse setlist, including live debuts of tracks from J-Hope’s EP. Hope in the Streets Vol. 1a project deeply linked to its artistic origins.
Fans can also expect some surprises, as J-Hope has announced new music slated for release in March 2025. A brief YouTube video titled Start of a new dream gave a glimpse of what’s to come: a laid-back track with soulful grooves and sing-song vocals. This will be his first music release since his 2024 EP, which included collaborations with Jungkook, Benny Blanco, Nile Rodgers and Huh Yunjin of Le Sserafim.
J-Hope’s solo efforts come amid BTS’ temporary hiatus as the group’s members focus on individual projects and their military service obligations. His first solo album of 2022, Jack in the boxand subsequent EP, Hope in the Streets Vol. 1showed his versatility as an artist.
