8 great novels y queer for 2025



2025 promises to be a very happy new year for Ya Fiction, in particular queer fiction. Over the past years, finding queer there was a challenge, but today, that the queer dominates the shelves. It’s not just romance either. There is a queer mystery / thrillers, Rom-Com-Com, a Queer science fiction, a queer horror, a queer fantasy-all under the aegis of Ya. With as many subjects and themes to be covered, it is not surprising that you continue to be one of the Categories to the fastest growth in the literature! Ya, in particular queer ya, is for everyone to read, of all ages and sexes.
Like its readers, there tends to be quick to adapt to trends. This year, boarding schools, vampires and suites will be great. Another trend in Ya Queer? Reference titles of pop culture such as vineyards, famous song titles and words, and even titles that refer to moments of pop culture. If we were a film by Zakiya N. Jamal is a clear nod to the song of the same name of Hannah Montana that the readers of Gen Z will certainly recognize. This title instantly puts readers in a particular state of mind of desire.
