7 spectacular books that mix the mystery with the romance ‹crimeSeads

When you think of a book with a heart, you could look for a mystery of murder or a romance. Both, after all, will make your heart beat faster … Just in different ways. So why not combine both genres? I did exactly that in my new book, but I am certainly not the first to make this jump. Read the rest for some of my favorite books that combine mystery and romance – some are a little heavier on one than the other, but everything, I hope, will make the heart of your reader happy.

Pomona Afton can thus resolve a murder By Bellamy Rose
I mean, I can’t make a list like this and not Include my own book! In this first entry of the Pomona Afton series, the heiress of the hotel and the trustee fund of the notorious Pom party girl and luxury excavations are drawn after the murder of her grandmother, the family matriarch (terrible). If she wants to recover her life, she will have to team up with her new grumpy roommate, Gabe, to understand who did it and why. But, while she and Gabe get closer during the investigation, she begins to wonder if she really wants to be the old pom … Especially if it could mean losing gabe. Pomona was probably the most fun that I have never had to write a main character – she is a bit ridiculous but has a lot of heart, and is much smarter than people think – and even if I am the one who wrote the book, every time I read through pass pages, I always look at her to grow and understand who she is really outside her extremely rich but also extremely dysfunctional family.
It’s basic by Elise Bryant
This very fun and comfortable mystery follows Mavis, a single mother convinced that her enemy PTA killed the school director. Obviously, as there is no evidence, the only thing to do for Mavis is to team up with the Sweightworthy school psychologist to understand what happened. It is both a really fun and intelligent mystery, a sweet romance and a satisfactory reading for all those who have already treated school drama.
Compose a for aunts By Jesse Q. Sutanto
Honestly, it is difficult to say a lot about the wild ride which is this book other than “Read it!” But I will try. When the meddelin wedding planner accidentally kills the blind appointment that tries to attack him, his major aunt interference network tries to help him cover it … But, instead, they manage to ship the body on the private island where Meddy puts the billionaire on the century. Of course, his ex-friend friend and the biggest sorrow are also there, but will there be time to fall in love in the middle of chaos? (Spoiler alert: yes.)
A curious start by Deanna Raybourn
I was presented at the work of Deanna Raybourn through her fantastic thriller A certain age killers (About a group of elderly spies on the race for their lives-You should read this one too), but its mysterious Historical Hybrids are just as good. In the first book in the Veronica Speedwell series, taking place in Victorian London, a puppet of butterflies and a grumpy and enigmatic natural historian must go to flight to resolve the murder of their friend before the unknown aggressor reaches them.
Arsenic and Adobo by Mia P. Manansala
How can you make an even more enticing mystery / romance? Of course add food descriptions worthy of food. In this first episode of the Tita Rosie’s Kitchen series, a food critic is poisoned at the beloved restaurant in Lila. If she wants to save the restaurant and her aunt, Lila will have to exercise the killer herself. There is just a suspicion of romance in this first book, but it is a joy to watch the love triangle (relatively without drama) take place through the series.
Royal blood By Aimée Carter
This mystery of an absolutely delicious young adult follows Evan, the illegitimate girl of the King of England left in shock when her identity is suddenly revealed in the press. The press becomes even more bloody when it becomes the main suspect of an investigation into murder. The only way to empty your name and find a lamb of normality is to soften Evan with a hot royal initiate and find the real killer. I loved this book not only for its fun fusion of romance and mystery, but for his inclusion of family drama-Evan has a lot of feelings (naturally) complicated towards her father the king, his mother-in-law, and her half-sister of the princess of the crown, and watching these feelings change and evolve on the book was incredibly rewarded.
I can’t spell tea -free betrayal By Rebecca Thorne
Okay, so this one throws a third Like in the mixture – it is a hybrid novel / mystery / fantastic sapphic, and absolutely delicious for that. Reyna and Kianthe flee the tumultuous royal court to open the shop of their dreams and live together a quiet life, but said that quiet life continues to be interrupted by mysteries so that they resolve … Not to mention the stress of keeping this life not only silent but secret of the avenging queen.
